Ni-Da Group

Nico Oosthuizen started Ni-Da in 1988 as a supplier of sand and stone to the building industry of Newcastle and the surrounding area. He soon realized the potential for growth when he identified the need for reputable transporters and successfully entered the transport sector as Ni-Da Transport.  

The company grew rapidly and is currently one of the most competitive and successful side-tipper operations in South Africa, operating a fleet of over 500 vehicles throughout the country, both inland and cross border. The company is fortunate to be able to service a variety of blue chip customers in different market sectors. 

This endeavour continued to grow and started expanding into other areas of business such as Property development, Retail, Hospitality, Tourism, Entertainment and the most recent addition, Farming.

But even with all of the variety of business the Ni-Da Group operates, Transport remains our passion and the reason why we get up in the morning.
