Meera Group initiated into business with its Lottery Sales and Distribution activities in the year 1990 It's firm M/s. Meera Lotteries was engaged in selling and distribution of all State Lotteries. This firm was the promoter of M/s. Navarathna Associates for Exclusive Promoting, Sales and Distribution of Karnataka State Lotteries in the year 2003. On the imposing of ban on sale of Lottery Tickets in the State of Karnataka, this firm ventured to trading activities under our new firm M/s. Meera Trading & Co., of various minerals including Iron Ore Fines for Export to China. This firm had own stock yard in Banahatti Village, near Sandur and did transportation of Iron Ore Fines by Rail Rakes from Banahatti Railway Siding near Sandur to Chennai Port. All Iron Ore Fines were sourced from M/s. Mysore Minerals Limited – A Government of Karnataka Undertaking.
