NYK-FilJapan Shipping Corp.

NYK Fil-Japan Shipping Corporation is the pioneer company of TDG, and is a joint venture between NYK Line (Japan) and Transnational Diversified Group.

Established in 1976, NYK Fil-Japan covers the major ports in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and is recognized as one of the largest international shipping lines in the country. It is engaged in different shipping services such as general shipping, ship chartering and brokering, international breakbulk cargo handling, liner and tramp agency services and management information service provider.

For over three decades, NYK Fil-Japan has continued to expand and venture into niche markets - especially in Mindanao, which is said to be the agricultural region of the country. Tapping onto higher yield markets such as refrigerated movements and leveraging on the satellite offices based in Davao, General Santos, and Cagayan De Oro, it has access to port services of sister companies engaged in forwarding, trucking, warehousing, brokerage and total logistics.

To date, it continues to engage other developing industries locally, such as the mining industry, renewable energy sector and the car-carrier business, which is at the forefront of the growth of the nation.
