Zhenshi Group Eastern Special Steel Co., Ltd was jointly established by Zhenshi Holding Group Co., Ltd and Jiangsu Sanfangxiang Industrial Co., Ltd after acquiring the 100% ownership of the former Jiaxing Eastern Iron & Steel Co., Ltd in July 2007. The company is engaged in the smelting and rolling processing of stainless steel, ferro-alloys and other ferrous metals, and repeated reshaping of steel, manufacturing of metal processing machinery and general equipment, production and sale of industrial gases and technical consultation service. The company has a registered capital of 1.3 billion yuan, total investment of 2.3 billion yuan.

 

Zhenshi Group Eastern Special Steel Co., Ltd is located in Jiaxing Southlake Special Steel Industrial Base in the heart of the Yangtze River Delta economic zone and 100 kilometers west of Shanghai and 80 kilometers north of Hangzhou, enjoying an advantageous location and convenient transportation.

 

The company is controlled by Zhejiang Zhenshi Holding Group Co., Ltd which has taken important measures in response to state, provincial and local governments" policies to enhance environmental protection, eliminate obsolete technology and restructure the iron and steel industry. The company has introduced the world class stainless steel smelting and rolling technology and formed a long-term and stable strategic partnership with a number of well-known domestic institutions. The company imported 80-ton energy-saving environment-friendly CONSTEEL electric arc furnaces from Italy, possess 90-ton AOD converters, 90-ton ladle furnaces, a 220 × 1600 slab continuous casters, 1800 Steckel mills and medium wide plate finishing equipment. The SIEMENS TDC electrical control system is used for the whole line. Therefore, the technology, machinery and ancillary equipment reach the advanced level in China. The advanced technology and equipment have laid a solid foundation for energy saving, emission reduction, low consumption, production safety and high quality. The company adopts a water separation and draining system under which the rain water is discharged into the rivers while the waste water is recycled after treatment. The waste gases from EAF, AOD furnace, LF, hot rolling and generation of coal are captured and purified with pulse filter bags and treated with wet flue gas desulfuration process to ensure that emission standards are met. The steel slag and wastes generated during production are also processed and recycled.

 

The company is committed to providing customers with high quality and unique special steel products and dedicated to develop and produce the special stainless steel products which are urgently needed but can not be produced in a large scale in China such as duplex stainless steel, super duplex steel, super Austenitic stainless steel and heat-resistant Austenitic stainless steel. At present, the company has a production capacity of 500, 000 tons of medium wide stainless steel plates and will reach a production capacity of 1, 000, 000 tons of hot rolled medium wide stainless steel plates after completion of the second phase project. The principal products of the company are 300-series Austenitic stainless steel, 400-series ferritic stainless special steel and other special stainless steel for applications in automobiles, home appliances, medical equipment, kitchenware and building decoration.
