Before the topic started, Mr. Wang Shaodong, Deputy General Manager of Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium Resources Co., Ltd., delivered a speech at the opening of the forum.
The meeting officially started. First, let’s welcome the Management Committee of Panzhihua Vanadium and Titanium High-tech Zone to carry out the "Panzhihua Vanadium and Titanium High-tech Industrial Development Zone Investment Promotion". The "Panzhihua Vanadium" was comprehensively demonstrated in terms of vanadium resources, technology, and various regional welfare policies in Panzhihua.
Next, Mr. Zhang Bangxu, special researcher of the Counselor's Office of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Secretary of the Party Branch and Senior Consultant of the Sichuan Vanadium and Titanium Iron and Steel Industry Association, brought us "Thinking and Suggestions on the High-Quality Development of China's Vanadium Industry"; An in-depth summary of the development.
Then, Mr. Yang Caifu, deputy chief engineer of the Iron and Steel Research Institute, brought us the "Rebar Development Trend and Vanadium Demand Forecast under the Background of Carbon Reaching Peak". The crude steel production situation under the background of carbon peaking is summarized, and at the same time, it gives us new thinking on the upgrading and transformation of vanadium.
At 14:00 pm, the topic continued. First, Mr. Yang Xiongfei, Deputy General Manager of Pangang Group Chengdu Vanadium and Titanium Resources Development Co., Ltd., explained the "Opportunities and Challenges of Vanadium Market under the Background of Carbon Peak" for us. He analyzes the production and operation status of vanadium products and the future development trend of vanadium products under the carbon peak for us.
Then, Mr. Li Pengfei, the project manager of Hunan Shuoke Thermal Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., shared the "Discussion on the Energy-Saving and Consumption-Reducing Production Path of Vanadium Products under the Background of Carbon Neutrality", and conducted a professional analysis on the production equipment.
Next, FerroAlloyNet specially invited Mr. Peng, a senior tax lawyer from Yukunhe Law Firm, to share a special topic on corporate tax compliance issues.
Then, Mr. Terry Perles from US Vanadium shared the "International Vanadium Market Supply and Demand" for us through the video link of the conference site; he explained the current supply and demand pattern of the international vanadium market.
After the Russian-Ukrainian war, people in the vanadium industry were more concerned about the production and operation of the Russian vanadium market. Then we We have again video-connected Mr. Alexander Stefanenin, Global Vanadium Industry Market Research and Strategy Director of Evraz and meanwhile, he is responsible for CIS and Asia marketing, explained to us the current EVRAZ vanadium and steel production and EVRAZ sales and transportation; and shared his views on the trend in the second half of 2022.
Finally, Fu Xinyi, an analyst of FerroAlloyNet vanadium series, conducted the "Vanadium Market Review and Data Inventory in the First Half of 2022", and summarized the transaction and production of vanadium products in the first half of the year.
