Indonesia has strengthened oversight of its value-added alloys such as frronickel, ferrosilicon, ferrochrome, ferromanganese, ferrotitanium,ferrovanadium, ferrotungsten etc under Ministry of Finance Decree No. 32/MK/BC/2026, implementing Minister of Trade Regulation No. 17/2026. According to this document, starting January 1, 2027, exports may only be made by state-owned exporting companies. In the case of exports to certain destinations by state-owned exporting companies or companies other than state-owned exporters (BUMN Ekspor), exports may be exempted from fulfilling the Surveyor Reports (LS) , with or without an exemption document in the form of a certificate from the Ministry of Trade.
Ministerial Decree No. 32/MK/BC/2026 was issued by the Director General of Customs and Excise, Djaka Budhi Utama, on behalf of the Minister of Finance, on May 31, 2026, and was declared effective on June 1, 2026.
